A woman prepares her kitchen, a tightly controlled environment….but is life ever that simple and for what or whom is she preparing?
Today I Bake is a visually compelling exploration of themes sourced from Grimm’s Rumpelstiltskin. Intense, intriguing, brave and uncomfortable, with flickers of dark humour.
Lotus Stone is an emergent theatre production company, set up by Sarah Cosgrove, to create exploratory, innovative performance, based in physical, visual theatre. We aim to be surprising, unpredictable and boundary pushing. Today I Bake is a first production in development, funded by Creative Scotland and with the support of Al Seed and Dylan Read.
