A high impact low-tech exploration of the force and grip of intense mood. Text free visual theatre with live music which explores the effects of intense depression, a place where nothing matters. This work in progress presentation is a further development of an initial creative experiment performed at a Snapshots event during manipulate 2018.

Francisca Morton is a masterful interpreter, psychotherapist by day..she confidently dives into a silent dialogue about a life spiralling out of control using nothing more than guile, wit and a sheet of polythene.

Fast-paced and interactive this piece throws up concern about the see-sawing of emotion and fragility of mood, not least how she will prevent herself from suffocating under a thin film of her own melancholy (and plastic.) To a mesmeric acoustic guitar score by Dave BeMac, Morton compels us with deft touch, comic timing and dramatic assurance. Deadline News
