COVID Audience Safety Policy

The safety of our audiences, our artists and our staff is our highest priority, and we have put in place a number of mitigations to maintain high levels of safety and comfort for all when attending our events. In addition to the requirements here, it is essential that all our audience members check and abide by the latest Scottish Government guidance, which is available to view here. If you are attending any events in the MANIPULATE 2022 programme, we ask that you observe the rules below as well as complying with the individual venue guidance from our venue partners.

All ticket bookers will be required to wear a face covering throughout our live performances, events and when moving around our venues, unless exempt.

1 metre social distancing will be in place for our indoor live performances and our workshops. For performances these will be arranged in bubbles, please speak to the box office of the venue in question for further detail.

We ask ticket bookers to complete lateral flow tests before attending any performances or events. Please follow the latest Scottish Government guidance about self-isolation in case of a close contact testing positive.

Use of e-ticketing, sanitising of venue spaces between performances and one way flow of people are amongst measures in place at our venues.

If you, or a member of your party show symptoms of Covid-19 or are required to isolate before the show, please contact the relevant venue box office for your event. Covid-related refund policies may vary, please enquire directly with the box office.

Ticket bookers will receive any additional information about measures specific to the event they are attending in advance by email.

If you attend any of the events at MANIPULATE and subsequently test positive for Covid-19, please let the relevant box office know so that we can contact other audience and staff who were in attendance or in close contact.

If you have any particular access needs or concerns either relating to Covid-19 or otherwise, please see the MANIPULATE access guide here in the first instance.
