    manipulate 2009 conjured up a colourful, complex and thought-provoking world innovative international theatre. In its first year at the Traverse Theatre, manipulate presented, amongst others, the madcap comedy of American artist Paul Zaloom alongside Spanish performer, Jordi Bertran's Poemes Visuales, a show striking in its simplicty and universal appeal.
