Puppet Animation Scotland is dedicated to the advocacy for, and the development and celebration of visual theatre, puppetry and animation in Scotland.

Through our manipulate programme Scottish theatre artists and animators have the opportunity to engage meaningfully with creativity of the highest quality from around the world.

In the six years since our first festival in Dundee manipulate has presented the theatre and film of international artists from: Armenia, Austria, Australia, Belgium, Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, England, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Israel, Latvia, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Scotland, Spain, Sweden and the USA.

During 2013 Puppet Animation Scotland will be working in partnership with the Northern & Eastern European Centre for Puppetry Arts in Estonia, the Maribor Puppet Theatre in Slovenia, and the Festival Mondial Des Theatres De Marionettes in France, to present the work of leading Scottish artists in these countries.
