The Festival is produced by Puppet Animation Scotland, an
organisation dedicated to the advocacy for, and celebration and
development of puppetry and animation.
manipulate provides an arena for us to create opportunities for
Scottish practitioners to develop their artistic and technical
working practices while providing audiences with access to stunning
visual theatre that would rarely be seen in the UK in any other
context.
The Festival is produced in association with two venues: The
Traverse Theatre, Edinburgh and Norwich Puppet Theatre. These
venues are natural homes for manipulate as they embrace pioneering
work and ardently support puppetry and its related art forms.
